In this video, I will show you how to open a newer version SketchUp file in an older version. This is a common problem when you receive a file from someone who is using a newer version of SketchUp than you are.

Solution:

There are two ways to open a newer version SketchUp file in an older version:

1. Use the “Save As” feature:

   1. Open the newer version SketchUp file in the older version.
   2. Click on “File” and then “Save As”.
   3. In the “Save As” dialog box, select the version of SketchUp you want to save the file in from the “Save as Type” drop-down menu.
   4. Click on “Save”.

2. Use the “Eneroth Open Newer Version” plugin:

   1. Install the “Eneroth Open Newer Version” plugin.
   2. Open the newer version SketchUp file in the older version.
   3. Click on “File” and then “Open Newer Version”.
   4. Select the file you want to open from the list.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind:

• When you save a newer version SketchUp file in an older version, some features may be lost or corrupted.
• The “Eneroth Open Newer Version” plugin is not available for all versions of SketchUp.
